Hammock Villa Karjat

I had booked 3 hunter's nest. All 3 tent's were clean, equipped with AC and attached bath. Tents were very comfortable. Swimming pool in the property was very well maintained. At night, the entire property looks very romantic with very good lighting. All the staff are very friendly and are very quick to help. Thanks to Sabeer and his entire team for all the arrangements. Time flies by very quickly and don't realize when the day goes by. Live music was amazing. Would definitely visit again !!!!

It’s a wholesome place with a lot of activities to do all included in your stay and package. The staff is very kind, their service is excellent. The entire campsite has a river-view, and the river flows right next to the campsite which makes the experience more serene. This has high chances of becoming your go to place to wind-down and chill, because the experience lives up to it. Activities we did: Games indoor and outdoor both, team games hosted by the staff, pool, kayaking, live bad, and many more

This is our second visit to the property in two years and it was such a blast. We had a wonderful stay at the venue and the staff guided beautifully by Mr. Sabir are amazing. The hospitality is on point. They were always ready to help with a smile on their face. The washrooms are extremely neat and clean and we will always recommend everyone to visit for a relaxed weekend getaway!

I recently visited this property with my friends, we stayed in the Hunters Nest, everything was pretty amazing right from the stay, the food, the activities, live music and the weather. The staff here is very helpful, especially Sabir, Pawan, Jayesh and Vikas, they really make you feel at home.Extra activities like Archery and Shooting were not operational instead they organised team building games to bond with other campers. The live music was phenomenal which elevated this experience.Food is good too just keep in mind that they have strict timings for this.In the morning we went for Kayaking which was a different experience altogether. So overall its a great stay and would definitely recommend everyone to visit once.

I visited Moonstone Hammock this weekend with my family. I must say they exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality and service.. The staff was very kind, considerate and helpful. They ensured everyone was taken care of and entertained as well.. not a single moment of boredom. A special mention to Pawan and Sabir for taking care of us.. The room were nice and clean. The property is beautiful. Location is perfect for a small or large gathering. Food was awesome.In all, the experience was wonderful and we would definitely be visiting them again.

My stay at Moonstone Hammock was quite different from what I expected based on the promotional photos. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. First off, getting to the site was quite challenging, especially if you’re arriving in a big car or SUV. The road through the village is narrow, and after that, you have to navigate a few meters of unpaved road, which made us feel like we were lost. The seating area in the main space, where they screen movies, was just okay—not particularly comfortable. Our movie-watching experience was also frustrating, as the movie kept getting stuck every few minutes. Despite the promotion highlighting activities like kayaking and outdoor games, the staff didn’t mention any of these during our stay. We stayed in the Forest Cabin, which was a cozy little room with sleeping arrangements for two on the ground floor and two above via a staircase. However, we encountered some issues—the AC remote wasn’t working, and it was stuck at 16 degrees, making it uncomfortably cold. The water pressure in the washroom was poor, and at one point, the water stopped altogether. On the positive side, the staff were helpful, and I believe with some upgrades, this property could offer a much better experience. The food was the highlight of our stay—home-cooked, delicious, and generously portioned. They also mention a ‘Buddha Café,’ but it’s just a simple table and chair arrangement under a shade, and we were unsure whether this was meant to be the café. Overall, Moonstone Hammock has potential but needs improvements to meet expectations.

The host has always been incredibly supportive and accommodating, making sure every stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It’s always fun to come back here, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect blend of tranquility and hospitality. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I recently visited Moonstone Hammock with my wife for a weekend glamping trip, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a few caveats. **The Good:** - The food offerings were limited but delicious and homely - The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. - A rickshaw guy on call was a great convenience, helping us get anything we needed from the city area. - The riverside location provided a beautiful and serene view that we thoroughly enjoyed. - Saturday night featured a live band performance, which was fantastic. We also had fun with the games and activities available. **The Not-So-Good:** - The weather was super humid during our visit. I would recommend going when it's cold and windy for a more comfortable experience. - The check-in time mentioned on the website was 2 PM, but upon arrival, we were told it was 3:30 PM. Fortunately, they accommodated us with an 'early check-in.' But they should change it on their site - The swimming pool could be cleaner. It's not very large but adequate for families with kids. - The room, particularly the forest cabin, didn't seem worth the price.

Spent a lovely weekend at Moonstone Hammock. They had a small pool, a river flowing on one side of the property, a backwaters area for Kayaking even in the offseason and some lovely live music. They people are very kind and let us stay wayy past our check out time in the common space so that we could book Coldplay tickets in the afternoon and gave us warm Maggie for lunch before we left. Overall a very wholesome experience!

Moonstone’s Karjat property is a peaceful camping spot by the river. The property was very nice and made our first glamping experience very peaceful and relaxing. The evenings were fun, filled with events and a night of live music.

A location mesmerizing enough to not let you exit from there. Great clean facilities with helpful staff. Good spot for family and also for friends. Place is away from any noise u can imagine but yes lots of birds chirping. It's just next to a river making it truly unique.

A very big thanks to captain Pawan for his hospitality. Everything was taken care of as soon as we reached the location. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade thanks to Pawan. -FOOD, amazing dishes, very tasty and amazing! I could not believe how much quantity plus good quality we received. Breakfast and high tea snacks we awesome as well. -ROOM, was clean. Very comfy for a couple. Toilet was clean enough, there as an issue with the water pressure but nothing serious. -ACTIVITY, was fun. We tried kayaking in the backwater. Captain Pawan was there to guide us. Pool was clean, not very deep as well. A little small but ok. There are games like table tennis and jenga and stuff, which was fun as well. EXTRA, lucas and Lucy! And there was movie night Will definitely recommend this property for a quick getaway!

Had a great stay at this property smartly located besides a river. 10 mins away from station. I had gone with work friends, we were a total crowd of 25 guest. They had a very relaxed space where we enjoyed the pool, had a great time bonding with work mates while walking around the huge space, sunset at river side were one of the highlights of our trip. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Mr. Shabeer and Mr. Pavan made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible with friendly smiling faces. We spent the morning playing fetch with their dogs. Over all it was a great stay i would live to go there againg with my family

Great service and good staff. Excellent people. Saw the T20 world cup final here beside the river. Very sweet place with good vibe. Location too is peaceful. Staff is open to feedback and they do take your inputs very seriously. Food provided is excellent. Sabir and Abhishek are excellent hosts. Feedback to improve: The WhatsApp team wasn't very open or discussing details for the place until you make the full payment. Even if you book it they do not share the Venue manager's contact details. Nor do they respond or take calls prior to full payment (even when you've paid 50% upfront for the booking). They could have been more engaging. Tip: call Sabir beforehand and he will help you to reach the place as it can be a little daunting to reach due to bad roads

It was truly a getaway amidst nature in Shelu, with the lake alongside the property, rains and the yummy food. We stayed in the Hunter’s Nest, it’s a true representation of glamping ! I especially visited Karjat for doing Kayaking and it was one of the best experiences as well as Karaoke and movie screening session with my mom. The food and service is amazing, my favourite part was just hanging on the hammock and getting wet in the heavy rain, playing badminton and Ludo the next morning post breakfast. Highly recommended, Do visit!!

We planned a weekend getaway for my daughter's birthday at Moonstone Hammocks, Shelu, Karjat. The place has awesome vibes and we had a great experience. The cottages were cosy and comfortable, the food was tasty. There are lots of activities here, indoor and outdoor games, kayaking, live band, karaoke and it was very entertaining. Special thanks to everyone there for a surprise room decoration and cake cutting for my daughter. She was thrilled.
